In March last year, our startup Agrilla faced the challenge of sourcing dairy goats, revealing the industry’s limited market access for small-scale farmers. Livestock often passed through multiple hands before reaching buyers, causing price drops and logistical nightmares. To address this, Stock Plug was founded, a live animal multivendor e-commerce platform, priced at just 10 shillings. Think Jumia or Amazon, exclusively for livestock. Our threefold solution includes expanded market access, cutting out middlemen, and unprecedented convenience—making buying livestock as simple as ordering pizza.


Stock Plug offers online market access in real-time, convenience beyond market days, a variety of options for informed decisions, and competitive pricing influenced minimally by middlemen. With a total addressable market of $995 million in Kenya alone and a serviceable market of around $250 million, we aim for a minimum 10 percent market share.
